Abstract submissions are now open, and we are inviting anyone passionate about primary and allied care to share the work, ideas, and innovations shaping the future of our sector. PMAANZ26 will explore where general practice and allied care are heading — and the critical role that practice management plays in leading that change. If you have insights, initiatives, research, or real‑world experience that could strengthen, challenge, or inspire our profession, we’d love to hear from you.

We especially welcome abstracts that reflect the evolving nature of practice management, including:

• Hauora Māori - equity‑driven approaches, partnership models, and innovations that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Pacific health - community‑led solutions and culturally grounded service design
• Rural practice - how small teams adapt, innovate, and sustain high‑quality care
• Workforce wellbeing and resilience - practical strategies, leadership approaches, and system‑level thinking
• Business operations and sustainability - financial stewardship, digital transformation, quality systems, and models of care beyond the consultation
• Research and innovation - projects or pilots that look ahead to the future of general practice and the administrative and operational systems that support it

Whether your contribution is strategic, operational, people‑focused, or community‑driven, PMAANZ26 is the place to share it.

• Plenary or Panel sessions: 40–50 minutes
• Concurrent sessions: 20 or 40 minutes

When preparing your abstract, please follow the guidelines below. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Programme Committee, who will select those that best align with the conference themes.

Please note: Submitting an abstract does not guarantee inclusion in the programme. If accepted, presenters must register as conference attendees and cover their own travel, accommodation, and associated costs.
